Re: Cook Along

@Ainjoule

Steal away!

I don’t think Fridge Tetris is an Oaktree original…it’s something my hubby says.

I am experimenting with a new recipe. I want to make bread rolls on Sunday morning for Soup Sunday at Church. So I am trying the recipe now to make sure I can do it. Typically my bread doesn’t work out except for the easy focaccia recipe I have been making. I will drop the recipe below for the butterhorn rolls. It’s a Colonial American recipe.

How many you planning to make?

LOVE homemade bread!

Re: Cook Along

Re: Cook Along

Oh! So butter rubbed into flour! Gotcha! @Shaz51

Re: Cook Along

Oh! I thought you WANTED to make them! I didn't realise you were making them tonight @Oaktree

Wow! They look croissant-ish...

Can't wait to see how they turn out. I'll taste test them for you!

"Proving"... does that mean letting it settle?

Re: Cook Along

@tyme

Yes you shape them the same as croissants. I have never made croissants though. This is a trail run for Sunday to make sure they are edible and not like rocks. Yes proving means to let them rise on the tray
