Hi there @SchizOttie,
Firstly - welcome to the forums! It's so great to see you making your first post, and I hope you find this space helpful to engage in supportive discussion with your peers.
Thanks for the question, and I hope I can help answer that for you. The SANE Forums are a mutual self-help space for people aged over 18 and living in Australia. We welcome individuals seeking peer support, connection, or belonging, including those with lived mental health experiences, caregivers, supporters, and allies. This fosters an environment of community engagement, where you are able to connect with others just like yourself.
We know that it can be tricky navigating a new space, so we've put together some tips and tricks to help you navigate and connect here in the forums. You can read more about this here!
We did want to note that SANE services are not designed for acute mental health crises, and this is something best explored with professional supports. If this is something you or someone else may require, please call Lifeline on 13 11 14, or 000 if there’s immediate risk or danger.
Feel free to introduce yourself here if you haven’t already - we look forward to seeing you around on the forums!
