Sore and achy today @Snowie and I’ve just been adding more to it by spending the morning and the garage sorted and cleaning. My shoulder and hands are rather sore now. Good ol arthritis 😩
just having a rest on the couch now. My bro and SIL are on their way over so my brother can go through all the tools.
we were gonna have a garage sale tomorrow but we have decided to have it Sunday instead. Just need a bit more time to organise ourselves
what you up to?

Have you got the results back from your scans of your shoulder @Bow?
Packing and sorting can be such hard work.
Hopefully your bro can take some of the tools, less for you to pack.
A garage sale sounds like a good idea. Hope you get lots of people there and you can clear some things.
Spent this morning cooking with mum. We cooked some different meals, separated them into meals. She can now freeze them and have them handy when she wants them.
It's a shame because she used to be such a great cook. Now she has trouble reading and following a recipe. Even things she cooked when I was young, she cannot remember how to do them now.
I am exhausted now!! Took a lot out of me. Had to be very patient. Thankful for the prn that helped.
Will just watch the footy this afternoon and make a small nest on the couch.
Got my coffee and biscuits so ready to go!

Bro SIL and niece just left @Snowie sometimes it’s hard work when they visit. Niece is 3 in June and she is really full on. And we have boxes and stuff everywhere so it was extra work.
I did get my shoulder scan results back. Basically lots of inflammation, cysts and osteoarthritis. So need to call up and make an appointment for some physio.
I go back to my gp on Monday for the results of my brain mri and pelvic ultrasound.
cooking together does sound nice though? Was it something that you had nice moments with your mum? Even if she could only help with basic stuff.
The couch with a cuppa and a cookie sounds nice now.
mum wants to keep going with the sorting, but I’ve had enough for today

So glad my kids aren't 3 anymore @Bow they get into everything at that age!
Hopefully the physio can help your should. Lets hope too that your other results come back with some answers for you.
The cooking went ok. It was nice to spend the time with her, but she kept getting upset because she couldn't remember. Or I would say something, then have to repeat it 2-3 times for her or she would say 'I remember, I'm not stupid'. I know that it isn't her fault, but it causes me lots of anxiety. Knowing that she can loose it at any moment and me being the one she vents too.
What are your plans for this afternoon?

So I saw my brother today for the first time in years. We got together to take some photos of his and mine kids for my mum. Am going to give them to her for mothers day.
I actually handled it ok (prn might have helped). Was able to have a conversation with him. He did say we need to put our differences aside and get together for our mum. Will see how that goes.
Has brought up a lot of flashbacks this afternoon and tonight. Has been hard to keep them in check. My body and head are taking over.

Thanks @Bow
Curled up in bed under my weighted blanket.
So much going through my head, those thoughts start flooding back.
