Re: I can’t cope

morning @Captain24 how are you going? 💙

Re: I can’t cope

Hi @rav3n

I was so tired this morning that I’ve not long woken up. I usually get up at 7 today ready for bed at 12. I’ve just taken my night meds so I’ll be able to sleep before work.

Im still so down it’s ridiculous. I still want to go to sleep and not wake up. But I have to say my body feels a little bit better with eating a lot better.

Re: I can’t cope

that sounds incredibly exhausting @Captain24 and i can see that you're doing your best at powering through and staying safe which counts for a lot. i hope you rest well today, and i've got my fingers crossed that you'll feel a bit more energy when you wake up.

so glad to hear that you're eating a lot better and that you're starting to feel its effects! hopefully with time, it can help you feel less tired too.

what's the plan for the next hour? playing with the dogs? watching some tv shows?

Re: I can’t cope

I’m so tired of fighting it @rav3n. It’s taking all the strength I don’t have to resist. At least tonight and tomorrow night I have work to focus on.

Im about to take them to mums for babysitting. She will drop them home at 10:30 tonight. They are both running wild playing with each other. It’s a shame the newsletter is photos as I have awesome videos of them playing rough!

Facing mum is going to be tough. I have to put that mask on and pretend I’m ok. At work it’s the same but at least in the truck I’m on my own so o don’t have too.

Tonight is going to be extremely cold. It’s currently 11 degrees feels like 3.2. So it’s cold now. Imagine early hours in the morning.

Re: I can’t cope

i hear how hard and heavy this is, hugs to you 💙 @Captain24 would it help to work through some ways to stay safe for after work tomorrow?

aww i would've loved to watch videos of them!! hmm maybe its something we can look into in the future... a virtual newsletter with videos would be so cool.

sucks that you have to carry around that mask in front of mum too, hopefully the drop off doesn't last too long. oh and weather!! those early morning negatives must be insane! i don't know how you do it, i think i'd have to wear 10 layers of clothes and have portable heaters around me all morning to survive!

Re: I can’t cope

Hey @Captain24

I love that Lego sunflowers set you did! Looks so awesome!

I'm also looking forward to warmer days, I've lost a bit of motivation for some of my hobbies too and I really think winter is playing a huge part in that. But, I like to remind myself that we've passed the winter solstice, the days are slooooooooooooooowly getting longer second by second, and eventually winter will pass and spring will be here 🌱

Re: I can’t cope

I work tomorrow night as well so it’s Friday I may need help. But you never know maybe life won’t be so hard by then @rav3n. I’m trying really hard.

That would be cool. I’m sure others have videos but I guess it would be so hard if not impossible to do.

The drop of was pretty quick as her routine is outta whack so see was waiting for me so she could go for a drive around town. I don’t know why they do it but they go everyday! The towns not that big. Like from my house to Bunnings (the other side of town) is about 7 kms.

It’s gets so cold and it’s snowing about 2 hours from us so we get the icy cold winds from it. It’s going to be so hard fro the next couple of nights and not help with my moods any at all. Layers are so hard cause it’s really uncomfortable to sit and drive in for 12 hours. So I just have to bear it.

Im going to bed now so I’ll catch sometime soon. I may pop in before I head to work.

Re: I can’t cope

It was so fiddly and I had to concentrate really hard. I think it had around 3000 pieces. @Ru-bee

I love the solstice too. It means driving to and from work starts to slowly get lighter! We won’t get spring until around the end of October! There will be some warm days during that but if I’m prepared for the late spring I can be surprised if it’s earlier.

At least I’m not alone in the lack of hobbies. I feel a little better about that. At least you still have your knitting and I still have Lego though I haven’t been doing a lot of it. But I guess if I’m in bed all the time then it’s hard.

Im heading off to get some sleep. I may pop in between getting up and heading off to work but only if I get time. Otherwise I’ll pop in before I go to bed at 8:30 in the morning

Thank you for today

Re: I can’t cope

Hope you get a good rest @Captain24  💜

Re: I can’t cope

you're right, there's definitely a chance that things might be a lil better by Friday (got my fingers crossed for ya) @Captain24 maybe tomorrow we can chat a bit more about it and come up with a plan to keep you safe?

it does sound hard to do. definitely something i'll keep in the back of mind, if we get more tech-savvy we might be able to do it! love the idea Cap.

yay glad it was a quick drop off! oh that's interesting... i get bored if i went everyday! is she looking for something?? does she just like the drive?? not that i expect you to answer any of those questions, just me thinking out loud haha.

gosh those icy cold winds!! i get what you mean, layers definitely makes it hard to move around. have you tried those heat-tech thermals? it's helped a bit with reducing the number of layers for me. the only problem is my hands and feet, they're sooo sensitive!

hope you rest up well 💗
