Re: Morning Check-In

I like this! I have a newfound appreciation for organisation as I have gotten older. Having your first aid supplies together will be really handy. @avant-garde

@AuntGlow

They've been together, they're just going to be more accessible now

Re: Morning Check-In

Perfect! Are you doing any other homey things today? ☺️ @avant-garde

@AuntGlow

Just got home, it's sunny outside and I kept embroidering my hymn book cover at craft group

Re: Morning Check-In

Oh that sounds so lovely! @avant-garde

Would love to see a picture when you're finished. 💛

Maybe of the motif on the back, but the rest would give away my denomination (which is quite small)

Re: Morning Check-In

Something happened today that after yesterday.... just nope.

I had chiro today and we were waiting around for the practitioners to arrive so I was on the computer researching...

I jumped into the conversation they were having and have learned to not just turn around and go back to my research, but to actually say what I'm doing and then go back to my research...

Someone I consider friend... she got upset telling me to look at her and she looked me with a stern glare and said "duck off, that is twice you've done that now so stop it and duck off" I wasn't sure what I'd done wrong, it's something I always do, I come in to research, so I look at her like a deer in headlights and said "noted" and turned back around back to my research.

So I managed that but I was triggered, so one of the usual staff there who has 2 neurodivergent boys and has gotten to know me, I talked to her and the woman I'd offended, turns out she was eaves dropping.

I finished with the staff member and the woman comes out and says in a cartoony voice exactly what I'd said to the staff member and so I interrupt her and "back off it's none of your business" in which she says she was trying to apologise.

What apology starts off with eavesdropping and mocking the other person? An insincere one.

So the staff member checks on me and I settle enough and then go in and apologise to the woman for snapping but get ignored.

@ArraDreaming

I am uncertain as to what is confusing or what emotion or response you're trying to communicate
