Morning @Shaz51 .I’m tired again. Nodded off for 10 minutes in armchair. Waiting until post office opens to walk up shops as I’ve got a card to post to a Mexican friend. Might put some shorts on. It’s going to be 27 here today. The algal bloom caused by climate change had killed the fish on my local beach so no walk along there today. The bloom makes you cough. Resting my back and neck. Will do my exercises again before heading off on my walk.

@Jynx I'm due for a beach walk which i'll organise soon. I really appreciate your positive vibes.

Well I am a 45 - 60 minutes drive to the beaches but it's always worth the road trip.

@Moose123 I can’t walk on my local beach because of the algal bloom we’re having here in SA. My local beach is covered in dead fish and the algae makes you cough really badly. This is a great shame. I am only 5 minutes walk from the beach. Tomorrow I will go to see how it is down there. But not today it is too warm now. Ocean is warm due to climate change so we have this bloom. I hope it’s better tomorrow.

@GezzaP that is so awful, and ohhhh so stinky! Intense that it is bad enough to mess with your breathing too. I hope it clears up swiftly, for you and yours, and all the wildlife too 🤞💜

Thats terrible @GezzaP. Have the EPA done anything to help solve the algae issue?

I hope it comes back to it's natural state. 

Maybe you can do a nature walk somewhere else?

Do you have any bush walking you can do around there if it isn't too hot?

Yes @Jynx the bloom is terrible.

@Moose123 There is nothing to be done except clean up dead fish and report on where the bloom is. There is a gully planted with native plants nearby. I may go for a walk there tomorrow morning.
