@Glisten , @Shaz51 washing dries much faster than mine lol. 😉
I ended up doing my washing *and* remembering to hang it out! Hopefully it dries before friends come tomorrow afternoon, but not a problem for me if not. They can look at my clothes haha.
@GezzaP glad you got some more hours than the night prior. Hope you get closer again to the full 8 hours tonight. 😊

@AlwaysMyself is your washing hanging inside the house?
Your laundry doesn’t have a pull out clothesline?
Or do you have a cool bathroom-laundry combo?

So who's ready for daylight savings?

@Glisten i have hung ut indoors for many years. Initially because of not having an outdoor line that was easy to use. But now I also find it handy because it doesnt matter if its not dry by nightfall, or i forget to bring it in, or if it starts raining. Its just inside and will dry in its own time. On a very good sunny day if im home and I want it to dry quicker I can move the setup outside.

@Shaz51 I wish I'd seen this post earlier, I would have asked if Mr Shaz might water my garden too!
My sciatica is being sciatic and my shoulders ache too so I wasn't able to water my plants this afternoon 😫
Thankfully we have a forecast of rain for the weekend so my babies will be safe.
I'm miffed at the same time with the forecast and wretched back/shoulder pain because I wanted to potter about and tend to my plants 🪴 🙃. It's my happy place where I talk to God.
I hope your weekend is good xo

@avant-garde Daylight Savings. I’m in WA and enjoy not having it.
Do you like Daylight Savings?

I don't hate them, I'm just conscious of the time shift for peer support workers when it starts on Sunday because it'll effect those without daylight savings.
I also feel like it's not fair on the farmers, no one tells the cows.

Hi @ENKELI @Shaz51 @Jynx and others here tonight. I hope you’re having a fantastic night, wherever you’re doing.
I finally got my to do list tasks completed which means I can now listen to the new Taylor Swift album if I want to download it as this was my reward I allocated to myself to motivate me to get my things done today. The hardest part was applying for uni/tafe as I’m scared of rejection and failure of not getting in. I told myself that unless I actually apply, I won’t know the answer and that’s what helped me in the end. The reality is now it’s up to the course selectors to decide if my application is suitable and I’m a good candidate for the course so it’s out of my control now. I’ve done the hard part - applying- so it’s a game of wait for an email and go from there. Life moves on either way!
@ENKELI The jumper I’m knitting is green, yellow, red and blue - officially Kelly Green, Sunburst, Holly and Napoleon Blue in Classic 8ply from Bendigo Woollen Mills if you’d like to check out the colours on the Bendigo Woollen Mills website. I’d post a photo but the photo is too big in size for the forum’s requirements- sorry!
I love your diamond painting by the way! The image is very nice! Well done on working on it!
Time for me to go and relax! Good night forumites!

@AlwaysMyself Only slept 5 hours again. Done 2 loads of washing. Had coffee and toast already.
Sat down in armchair to rest my aching back.
when it’s light I will hang up washing and eat breakfast to take all my tablets. Then I’ll walk up the shop to stretch my back even though walking hurts. It’s going to be 29 today. Might sit out in the garden for a little while.
enjoyed talking politics with you yesterday.
