Hee-hee..... not much resting for you @Zoe7 !!  I understand how it is though.  It is not a mind-rest if you are worrying about your folks and how they are managing, so getting in and doing that much for them, while it will leave you physically tired, ticks the other box ...... well done you ❣️

I saw very clearly how much needs to be done at my parents' place @Faith-and-Hope so will be going back in a couple of days. My stuff can wait until I have my parents' place in some kind of order for them to cope better. My Dad is not physically able to do what he used to be able to and so much of his time is taken up with the horses - so will get stuck into the garden for both of them when I can (supposed to rain for the next few days so that may have to wait a bit longer). The whole house needs a good clean up too but Mum will need to be more mobile to help with that down the track. So getting the housework sorted for them and any shopping they need done will be the priority.

I can do some things at my place in between - as much as I would like things sorted here I am more concerned about my parents and their health presently ...Mum will not recover properly if she tries to do things herself so I am going to have to be tough with her for the next month or so at least. 

Dad picked up his new mower today (after the engine blew in his last one) so that will help with the garden also. It is a big property with a lot of mowing needed - and tat has been neglected for months because he didn't have a mower ...together we can get it all done.

Going to meet my sister tomorrow to pick up her kitten with her @Faith-and-Hope I will have to go to the chemist and also visit a store to see if I can get some more things Mum needs in the morning as I am meeting my sister at 12.30. It will be about a 3 hour round trip from her place plus the extra hour from my place and home again. If I can find what my Mum needs then I will drop it all off at her place too - so going to be a long day.

Have eaten tonight and feel sick again so hoping it passes overnight and I am okay tomorrow. Hoping also you are feeling a bit better Hon - sucks being sick 😥

I have felt better today @Zoe7, but it's coming and going a bit at the moment.  Hoping it's going more though .....

I am sorry you are feeling unwell tonight.  I hope you can sleep, as it is a big help in our recovery.

You are a sweetheart looking after your parents as well as you can, and I hope it's an enjoyable day with your sister tomorrow, picking up her kitten.  A long day can be satisfying if it's evenly paced and things happen as they should.

Heading to bed now myself as it's time to call it a day.

I have the time now to help my parents out so will do what I can when I can - the same with my sister 👍 They looked after my babies when I was in hospital and Mum has paid for a lot of Cat's vet bills this year so whilst I don't feel indebted to her I can pay her back now by helping out ...not that I wouldn't anyway but feels like I am giving back a lot of what she has given me.

I am looking forward to tomorrow because I cannot wait to see my sister light up when she gets this kitten. It has been so hard on her losing her other little man but she has set out the spare room with lots of new things for this kitten and today I actually saw a little light coming back into her life - that is priceless.

I am really pleased you have felt a bit better today - I do worry so much about you Hon  Keep resting and continue the fluids and I hope tomorrow you are even better. Love ya @Faith-and-Hope - hope you sleep well and recovery more yourself 💕

Good morning @Faith-and-Hope @Sam3 @Maggie @Snowie and everyone else passing through...

Up early to be able to get things done before I head to my sister's - then off to pick up Kitten. I am pretty excited for my sister and can't wait to see the little fella myself. She has set up the spare room as a kitten heaven ...toys, play tower, beds and a cute blanket. He is going to be one spoilt little kitten but it is good for my sister after the grief she has been going through. I am very much hoping this little fella will provide her a lot of happiness. She has been so down for a long time now so hoping this helps ease some of that pain.

@Faith-and-Hope Hope you have had some sleep Hon and are feeling better today

I saw my sister yesterday light up when she showed me the kitten's room @Snowie That gave me the warm fuzzies for her. She has lost 2 cats in less than a year so this little fella is giving her some happiness back already. My wish and hope for her is that he is a healthy and happy cat and gives her a long, long time of love and comfort.

I have already unpacked the car, folded the clothes, put the last of the washing on and washed up. Shower next to wake me up and then off to the shopping centre before I head to my sister's. It is going to be a long and tiring day but will also tick off some more boxes so that is a bonus.
