@Shaz51 it's getting there, slow progress with this one. Brains a little distracted today, it's off with the fairies 😂

My days going well so far @Dreamy Happy to be here with you all 😊
Glad you're home safe @Shaz51!
@NightFury I definitely have those days too. I'm a big list person when I have too many things to do. Even if I don't get them all done writing down all the tasks helps me to prioritise them and frees up a bit of space in my brain so I can feel a bit less scattered

Good wonderful Friday afternoon @Shaz51 @Dreamy @Ru-bee @NightFury and all forumites here this afternoon. Hello!
@Shaz51 The spot fires sound scary! I’ve heard there’s been fires in Far North Queensland recently. Take care!
@Ru-bee I’m also a list person as I find it helps me to get all the things out of my head and jotted down so I know what has to get done. Sometimes I’ll have both a daily and weekly list going to keep track of things. I’ve done one for today with my reward for getting things done being downloading and listening to the new Taylor Swift album when it drops at 2pm today on Apple Music. I love crossing things off when I achieve them as it’s very motivating and satisfying for me. It’s also helped me with my mental health as well which is a great thing.
@NightFury Good luck with the studying. My tip- do things 1 step at a time and reward yourself for achieving them. Even it’s as simple as reading a paragraph or writing down some notes for an assignment. As the Wolfe Brothers song ‘Little By Little’ goes - a little by little adds up to a lot. You’ve got this!
I’m in a great mood after having a bad day yesterday with my housemate in my role as a carer- she got rejected for a uni course. I’ve decided to look at other courses besides social work in case I don’t get accepted into the course at uni and I’m very happy with what I’ve found, including a uni level degree at a local TAFE which I’m in the process of applying for. I’ve also started a new jumper for myself and am currently knitting yellow wool which is making me feel very positive and happy whilst listening to a happy music playlist - Roar by Katy Perry or Happy out of Despicable Me anyone? Add to this, getting ready to hopefully celebrate a Melbourne Storm win on Sunday night in the NRL Grand Final and I’m one happy camper!
Enjoy the rest of your arvo!
