Hello @Spirit_Healer, hope you enjoy your dinner.
A walk on the peninsula sounds great, hope everyone has a good time ☺️.
I'm doing ok.

@Moose123 ooh love a nature walk! I got one in too, well, the park/sports ovals are kinda naturey anyway haha
I get cravings for nature if I don't get out into some decent scrub at least once a fortnight hey!

yeah @Shaz51 Since I got out of rehabilitation last week I've been in the routine of including a morning mindfulness walk which helps me start the day.
How was your day?

@Blackcloud it's not been unhelpful knowledge, the more sciencey stuff from my psych degree. But maybe if you are more interested in the practical skills, counselling could be worth looking into!! I do remember doing one topic about research, but very different to the research classes in psych. It was focused on qualatative research and lit reviews moreso than statistical analysis. But again, knowing some basic stuff from my psych minor helped me better understand and interpret it when papers did have a bunch of stats jargon.
You might have set yourself up nicely with some knowledge in a similar way that I did, if you do decide to switch that is, cos only you can make that choice! 😋
Yay I hope that the process goes smoothly then with your ADHD assessment!! Fingies and toesies crossed hehe 🤞

@Jynx The beach trail walks are my go to, watching the waves crash and smelling the salt water air in. In rehabilitation they encouraged all patients to stick to a group routine, morning walks, group therapy, exercise, art and mindfulness meditation.
I'm trying my best at the moment since I got home last week.

@Jynx yeah true, I think knowing some basic stuff related to the human brain and behaviour specifically has also helped me better understand why certain things among us are the way they are, and the things that cause people to act a certain way. I haven't done any statistics yet, so thank god I won't have to do that if I do decide to transfer unis and switch degrees hehe :3
